Church Council
The council acts as the board of directors of the congregation and oversees the life of the congregation.

Council Members:
Members: Pastor Janet Anderson, Tom Dunn- President, Alan Meisinger Vice President, Joyce Zimmerman-Secretary, Stacy Gutierrez, Monty Habrock, Kara Habrock.

Committee Information

Christian Education: The Christian Education Committee shall advise and assist the Congregational Council with the youth, Sunday School (Wednesday Church Night), and other educational ministries of the congregation including planning and scheduling meetings of at least one per quarter, plan and prepare lessons for Sunday School (Wednesday Church Night), VBS, and special holiday activities. They will also work with teachers, assist with Confirmation and Youth Ministry as needed, help select curriculum materials, and notify the congregation of upcoming events involving the youth of the congregation.

Property Committee: The Property Committee is responsible for maintaining the church building and grounds. If a member of or visitor at Christ Lutheran Church sees something that needs to be repaired, they are encouraged to talk to any member of the Property Committee. If a Congregation member has any experience or is handy in any areas that can assist with the repairing or upkeep of our church, they are encouraged to reach out to a property committee member.

Finance/ Stewardship Committee:  The Finance and Stewardship Committee is responsible for the financial health of the Congregation and works with the Financial Secretary and Treasurer to oversee the finances. They also remind the Congregation of the importance of using our God given gifts, time, and finances to help further the mission of serving Christ and serving our community.

Support and Outreach and Welcome Committee: This committee is responsible for:
Coordinating service and mission projects for the congregation
Coordinating service projects in the community
Creating a supportive and positive environment for current members
Welcoming visitors and new members
Encouraging participation of new members in the life of Christ Lutheran Church

Worship and Music Committee: This committee seeks to create meaningful worship opportunities for members of Christ Lutheran Church that honor our rich Lutheran heritage and also test the waters of change. General maintenance of the altar and sanctuary and establishing guidelines for volunteers.

Pastoral Relations Committee: Tom Dunn and Alan Meisinger. This committee offers an opportunity for Pastor to receive support while providing a confidential space for members to share concern and joys with the Pastor. The committee shall be responsible for job descriptions of other staff members and provide support and guidance when needed. This committee consists of the current council president and the past council president.
